The Older Beginner
Are you entering high school in the Fall and want to move from right field to the fastest sport on two feet? Or perhaps you've never held a stick and want to after watching your 6th grade buddies "make plays" on the lacrosse field. We are often asked how the older player integrates into a group of experienced players. At an All West camp, beginners are separated by age and ability. After a player is taught the basic fundamentals: catching, throwing and scooping he is then moved into the appropriate group.
